What is R?
Risk-adjusted performance — the only metric that matters.
R is the unit of risk on a single trade. Before NEXUS enters a position, it defines exactly how much it is willing to lose — the distance from entry to stop loss, multiplied by position size. That amount is 1R. Every outcome is then measured as a multiple of that initial risk.
This makes performance comparable across all account sizes. A subscriber with $500 and a subscriber with $50,000 both see the same R-multiples — they just scale their dollar amounts differently. +2R means the trade returned twice the amount risked, regardless of account size.
The industry standard win rate metric records a WIN when TP1 is hit before the stop. This is the same standard NEXUS uses. A trade that hits TP1 and then has its runner stopped out is still recorded as a WIN — because TP1 was reached first.

Transparency Statement
This track record begins March 30, 2026 — the date NEXUS completed its ATR-based stop calibration and all execution systems were verified correct. Earlier paper trades during system tuning are not included. All results from this date forward are published without modification. Win rate is calculated using the industry standard: TP1 hit before stop = WIN. This is the same methodology used in the 2-year internal backtest published on the main page. No results are excluded or adjusted after the fact.
